Dunbar High School is a great place to go if you're highly interested in STEM and/or want a career in STEM. The STEM teachers are great, especially the teachers in the Biomedical program, they've taught me many useful lessons that I still remember and apply within my day to day life and the labs are always engaging. The teachers here are ready to offer you support when you need it.

Dunbar High School is a connundrum. Very STEM focused almost too a fault. A lot of great opportunities if you are in the IB programs. However if you ar enot in these programs your options are limited and can be fairly bog standard.

The academic portion of the school is very well rounded and put together however, the sports is focused on football and cheerleading way more than other sports. I play on the Dunbar girls varsity soccer team and we don't get even remotely close to the amount of funding and privilege as the football team does.

Cant complain. Both my Kids went to Dunbar and exceled. Both went to D-1 Schools on full ride academic scholarships.

Dunbar high school is an amazing high school . Dunbar offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in conjunction with a STEM academy. We are extremely happy with Dunbar high school.
