The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Franklin County High School was extremely wonderful. The best parts were the student involvement, club opportunities, and the teachers impacts on students. The worst part was the chaos. A lot of things were unknown or not well planned out. I would like to see the level of the classes raise. Students need to be challenged more.

I love the diversity and community of Franklin County High School. Without Franklin County I would not maintain the position that I am in today. I would like to see the parking lot dismissal in the afternoon go smoother. With Elkhorn Middle School parents pulling out every two seconds and students having to wait for twenty minutes to just get out of the parking lot.
