GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Frankston is like many small schools. Academics isn't prioritized as it should be and administration makes no attempt to change that. Those in charge care very little about their employees as is evident by the amount of vacating faculty at the close of each school year. Although the people in charge may be lackluster, the teachers and students are not. It is evident that the members of the school care about one another the way close-knit communities often do.

Course work could be more difficult to challenge student more. It does not prepare you for college at all.

I attended this school from K-12. My child currently attends. (Only attended a few years here and should graduate soon) It’s a daily struggle to “undo” the lackadaisical approach the school has to rules and expectations with our child who requires structure and rules. The so-called zap program (zero...

I went to this school from Kindergarten to my senior year and it was terrible. I watch my siblings go through some of the same things I did because this school does not care. Their saying is that every child matters but that is very much not the case. I highly recommend not sending your child to thi...

My daughter has gone here since the 7th grade, she is a senior this year. I do think there is a lot of favoritism playing our in the school but in general it's a good school. They do seem to care more about the athletes but then again this is Texas what can you expecr. My daughter does get the help...

There is no sup or mgmt of teachers taking place, they are more worried about being friends with the teachers. There have been teachers with inappropriate language and actions in classrooms, physical contact, teacher student relations, with at least one teacher arrested for sexual relations with a s...
