GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I spent my entire life in Freeland, from Kindergarten to walking across the stage at graduation to get my diploma. My favorite part about expanding my education at Freeland would be the teachers who helped me along the way and the friends I have made. When I lost aa parent going into High school due to cancer, I felt very alone, however many of the students stood by my side and helped me by allowing me to take moments to myself and encouraging me to talk about what had happened.

Overall, it's just a small town high school. Classes are small and this allows for one on one learning with the teachers. There is good community involvement and a space for everyone to flourish. With many clubs and teams, there are numerous opportunities for students to get involved and show their school spirit. Something that I would like to see change is better control of vaping in the bathrooms.

Freeland has a great sports program as well as academics. It is a nice facility and feels safe. It also provides several opportunities such as early college and career centers for high school students.
