I think that Freeland High School is a great fit for the town of Freeland. It specializes on STEM education, which is incredibly important because engineering is very prevalent in this area. Overall, it is pretty good, and its only flaws are comparable to any other public high school.

The school is generally average but in specific its all or nothing. Our art teacher and art classes are great but we have struggled to keep a drama teacher and the arts programs don't get much funding. The school morale is miserable. Its very cliquey.

Overall, it's just a small town high school. Classes are small and this allows for one on one learning with the teachers. There is good community involvement and a space for everyone to flourish. With many clubs and teams, there are numerous opportunities for students to get involved and show their school spirit. Something that I would like to see change is better control of vaping in the bathrooms.
