GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I believe that my experience at Freeport highschool could have been better as the school being more college ready which would have helped me a lot now as a senior. Starting Highschool during COVID I definitely feel that I did not get the full experience that I would have loved but it was definitely not a horrible one. I wish that the teachers and program runners were chose more wisely, out class adviser being a rude unprofessional lady didn't help make senior year better.

Freeport High School was a great place to go to school because of its fun environment and great teachers. There was always the ability to get extra help with my academics and an array of different students to interact with.

The one thing that I like about high school is that if you are willing to put in the work and go to the next level, there are teachers and counselors here to help you. One thing I wish I could change about my years of high school is my freshman year because if I would've done a good freshman year to now my GPA would be better.

I also experienced constant transphobia from students, and while staff weren't directly transphobic to me, they wo...
