Friday Harbor High School has excellent teachers and classes for the small school that it is. Because the school is located on an island there are some restrictions in resources and opportunities. However, the small class sizes give you personal time with teachers, coaches, and all staff that makes the school feel like a family.

At Friday Harbor High School you're given a lot of resources for success, and most of the teachers are very available to put in extra time and make sure you're keeping up with the coursework. In my experience, the school could improve on engaging with the students about their plan for after high school. While they do a good job of this with 11th and 12th graders, the younger students would benefit from more help from the school in regards to this.

The political bias and emphasis on conformity is downright shameless. The lone counseler is most concerned with college bound stats. Most of the staff are fine on their own, but they have terrible communication with each other, and they promote a very politically biased atmosphere.
