GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Friend High School is an excellent academic institution because we had more one on one with our teachers. We are involve in all activities whether locally or statewide. What needed to be change is for more accessibility to internet.

Friend High School is a great place. It it is a small school in a small town, so everyone really knows everyone there. The teachers have good relationships with their students and the Administration is close to the kids as well. I would say though that a lot of emphasis is put on sports, perhaps even too much sometimes. However, that is probably the only negative. I have loved my time there and I would say that it is the best secondary education school that I have attended.

More often than not, my school has a fantastic staff. Teachers are working around the clock to help students succeed, and students can get extra help with a subject before or after school from a teacher. The office staff is always friendly, and the guidance counselor sets up many different activities for students to help better their education and aid them in goal planning for their future.
