It is a small school were everyone knew everyone by their first name including the teachers. I would like to see the dress code change. I think students should be able to express their selves.

It is a small school with a big heart. The teachers are always helpful and will prepare you for the future.

The only thing i would change would be the administration. Most all of the teachers are very good and strive to help us succeed and get ready for college. The principals on the other hand, not so much. They worry too much about the little things and if causes the big things to take off and run and become worse. Other than that, Gaston is a good school. The education levels are very good.

Awesome! Gaston was also on the best school list for the state of Al ranked #31 in AL and was ranked silver nationally. This beat other area schools in this area, some didn't even rank at all and this website has them is listed as better schools! This website needs to update!

Great teachers, new principal is awesome! Playground that has been in the making for years is now complete since we have our new principal. Excited about the future here at Gaston!
