Definitely not your average schooling experience. With new ideas and tools being implemented into everyday classes it can be a little odd. Schedules constantly change throughout the years and classes are added and removed. Eventually, you may start to feel like a Lab Rat, but that's fine. I embrace it, knowing that by participating in this research I'm part of something bigger than just my education, but the future of all education.

It's amazing and well done and I have been loving my time here and study very hard. I definitely made the right choice.

I personally think PK is overrated, meaning they try to create this persona that it's a great school. But in reality it's not, we don't have pep rally's & they don't really teach us. The AP classes are mandatory & I believe that everyone should have an option because some people can't earn a good grade in AP.

I could have enrolled her in a magnet program for high achieving students but prefer a more integrated classroom, with little distinction between "regular ed" and "gifted" students. There is a "family feel" to PK and it really se...

I have attended PKY since the fourth grade and I admit that it is a very unique school. The only problem is that there are barely any clubs and whatnot to choose from, which is why BHS tends to look more appealing. Yes, it does have a family "feel" to it, but it can also make you feel as if you aren...

My daughter has attended PK for the past two years. She got in a week before her 4th grade year. PK was certainly the best possible choice we could have made for her. The teachers are awesome and WANT to be there. You can tell they love their jobs and the students. My daughter is very bright and her...
