Gainesville High School is a good school. They have decent options for food and there aren't many maintenance issues. I wish some of the faculty were nicer and more understanding. I also wish bullying and vaping didn't happen as much as it does. Overall, Gainesville is the best out of the 3 schools I've gone to, but it isn't the best school out there.

Has a good medical assistant program for high school students. The medical assistant program is a great resource for people interested in the healthcare field.

Students are not represented based on merit. Not all students are given the same opportunities. Most of the time the faculty does not have time for the students. The positive is that the school has a dual credit program.

I would rate my experience as sub par. Gainesville likes to have all these programs that are supposed to benefit the kids that want to learn and be better, but it is mainly smoke and mirrors. They spend a lot of their time lowering their standards for the majority of the school that doesn't see past...

After graduating I can say I liked the people I met because I had a good group of friends but the education was below average. But there really isn't a whole lot of choices at Gainesville. Better to move to a bigger city and send your kid to a 4A or 5A school and if they aspire to be great they will...

Anonymous ratings with zero accountability and 100% hearsay web posts. This is how I will judge where I educate my child? GHS is the best High School in North Texas, if you value, collegiate academies, fine arts opportunities, new facilities and cutting edge technology. Surrounding districts can bar...
