This is a small public school in a large area that you should consider yourself lucky if your child goes to this school. The staff, parent involvement, PTA, teachers, community is one of a kind. I don't like that my daughters teacher quit In the beginning of the school year and it seems like everyone is trying to make it work without a permanent teacher. I am not very happy about it at the moment.

I agree with other reviewers. I have 4 children, 3 who attended other elementary schools. Darnestown Elementary by far is the best elementary school!
