Lakelands is a great school. I've met a lot of new friends and the class work can be challenging at times. I would recommend it for any other middle schooler. I do wish their were more black teachers

I had a good time at the school. The teachers there prepared me for highschool. But there were some teachers that were subpar with the other teachers. In general my experiance was amazing.

Safety at this school has rapidly decreased over the last 2 years before this post. Police have frequently been at the school, and there have been instances at this school of poor safety. My experience at this school was bad I never felt safe in this school. The police were frequently at our school because of various threats and I never felt safe stepping foot in this school. My son went to LPMS for 3 years. He had a fantastic experience, a lovely teacher and classmate. The school really helped him prepare for high school and later in life. One program that I enjoyed as a parent was the JA history work which taught students about how to manage money.
