My experience in high school has been good in general. I take very valuable people and moments that I don't forget. The worst, to be honest, has been the food (it could improve a lot) and, as everywhere, there are students who sometimes complicate your life a little. But something positive is that I feel that in my school they do listen to us, and that makes the difference. I would just like them to focus a little more on everyone's well-being, not just on the academics.

Watkins Mill is a great high school. The teachers really care about the health and success of students. While there is a bit of a laid-back school culture, there are plenty of opportunities to try harder and take AP or IB classes.

At this school, you get to be yourself. It is a place full of diversity in cultures and ethnicities. I love that teachers are very inclusive to each student and that many resources are provided for any type of need. Students can take lead and get support from administration and if you have any idea in mind, they are ready to take action. One thing I would want to change is the amount of toleration administration has when it comes to attendance and tardy policies.

I am a parent and I've always been treated kindly and with respect by the teachers and students.

My children learned through experience to judge people by what they say or do, not by what they look like. For that, I am very grateful. This can be very hard for a white parent to teach in a predominately white school, but Watkins Mill is anything but that. My kids view everyone as being equal in e...

The experience at this school was dismal. Disrespectful students, disrespectful teachers, and inattentive staff are just a few problems at this school. The school is terrible at dealing with their own problems like bullying and even more ineffective at preparing students for life beyond the school....
