Galax High School had been an overall decent experience for me. As I'm going into my senior year I have noticed good improvement since freshman year.

it is a good school the good community surrounding it. We recently had a school shooting scare and his school handled it very quickly. I feel it handled the situation the proper way.

Galax is not a great school. Most of the students do not behave at all and are mean to the teachers and the teachers won't do anything about it. Many of the teachers will tell you what to study for a test or quiz and the quiz will be completely different than what they gave you to study. Some teache...
