At Garfield Heights Middle School, students in Grades 6 through 8 are challenged and nurtured to grow every day. GHMS teachers are highly qualified for their work as educators and create various educational options, including the opportunity to earn high school credit in health, physical education, Algebra I, English I and Computer 101. Garfield Heights Middle School offers 15 sports to its students, including seventh and eighth grade football, boys and girls soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball and softball. In total, more than 250 students in seventh and eighth grades participate in these athletic co-curricular opportunities. Students can also sign up for student leadership programs, including Drill Team, Student Ambassadors and Junior National Honor Society. GHMS and all other Garfield Heights City Schools are recognized as implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports by the Ohio PBIS Network and State Support team. Schools receiving this recognition have varied, creative and engaging reinforcements and acknowledgments for desired behaviors and a multi-tiered support system based on identified student needs.

They did not give one assembly, notice, warning, or anything about bullying or respect. education is so bad I was an average student then I when there and I noticed I learned all of this in second grade.
