James A. Garfield felt like a home. The teachers and staff were great and the people I met and grew up with will always be remembered

James A Garfield school district is very small and intimate. Everyone knows everyone which makes receiving assistance in any form easier.

Garfield has many great teachers that actually care about their subject and how much the students actually learn. Every time I asked for help my teacher came to help me in any way they knew how to. Given the option to change something about my school, I would change the lack of diversity as there are only 3 African Americans in my entire school.

teachers don’t teach, they don’t offer tudors, spend most money on athletics and don’t care about student who aren’t involved in sports and extracurricular. administration doesn’t care about feelings only results.

School should be shortened drastically. I would say that I just sit around and stare at a wall almost every period of the day. Putting more work on students isn't a good idea either because its just busy work and increases stress. Maybe we could learn how to operate a business.
