The best part of the Gates Chili school district is the great academic curriculum and diversity. The worst part of the schooling is the uncontrolled fighting.

The teachers are very nice and they give high quality education. The school is great too it isn't beaten up.

I liked the music program and how open the staff is for helping you if you need it. The music program not only helps you become a better person and student but it also gives you a family that you'll always have. The staff are also great there and even after graduating I still go back and talk to them and reach out to them if I need help or even a reference for a job opportunity.

You pay for "great" schools. This is a good public school. It is diverse, socio-economically, ethnically, etc. It offers its students plenty of opportunity to excel in academics, sports and the arts. It's an okay school, but it's a prison!!! For example, in the winter, if you arrive at school after 8:20, you must stand outside in the cold and sign in from a window! Also, everytime something "bad" happens they get much stricter, which does nothing but cause students to become more restless.

I love the school. There are fights, but they are mostly verbal. I think some drama is to be expected though, when you put 1000 teengers in a building together for 7 hours.
