Both of my kids are at GISB, and we love it. I wanted my kids to be bilingual because I am half-Austrian, but I didn't know how much I would love the school and community. Parents are very involved, and it is a close group of people. The school is truly international, which was important to me, and there is so much attention on the kids. I also love that it is truly a bilingual school. My kids are 5 and 7, and they are fluent in both English an German.

I am a parent of three children who joined GISB last year and all three have been absolutely happy from day 1. They benefit from outstanding academics, engaging and caring teachers as well as small class sizes. The school has an amazing science and language program and an overall well-rounded curriculum. The whole family enjoys the international community, which is exceptionally friendly, welcoming and open minded.

This schools special education and language support programs are terrible. Teachers have no control over classes and the administration is a mess. The school move has made this school broke and they are laying off experienced teachers and keeping the cheap, inexperienced ones while combining classes...

Our daughter attended GISB from nursery school through middle of 7th grade. We liked the school for the early elementary years and she became fluent in German (not spoken at home).
