GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think my school is pretty safe we have a good security system, all the doors are locked inside and out. We don't a school nurse just medication to be given to us, if its serious you're signed out by your parents, if you are having a seizure or something the medics are called and there are some volunteer firefighters here as well so those are first to go the classroom to help.

The school administration is very admirable. There are a few that have their days but who doesn't? They talk to you at your level sometimes they go beyond your level but that helps you gain more knowledge.

There are quite a few extra curricular subjects like FCCLA, FCA, FFA, Speech, and academics. The level of commitment isn't very high.

Horrible, multiple times my child has been in situations where another child has been violent to him. Both the principal and the superintendent are rude and condiscending. It seems like the school staff and those who are above them are all good friends or grew up together to it is completely pointles...

Thumbs Down. My son is special needs. He is supposedly in the 11th grade, he is stuck in one hidden away classroom with their own toilet, sink and refrigerator so the special needs children don't even have to go out of this room to use the cafeteria, restrooms. Or change classes My son is 16 years o...

This school is in a small town and that is just it! You have to be in their "click" to be treated fairly and to have any say about your children. They stick children who are not in their "clicks", in refrigerator boxes, in the middle of the classrooms! The people on the board are the same ones that...
