Gettysburg Area High School has extremely smart students. Unfortunately, the majority of the funding that students see goes to the athletics department. If they provided more assistance to kids struggling and kids exceeding, I believe that would make the high school much better.

I really liked Gettysburg Area High School. The teachers that I had throughout my experience at Gettysburg High School were all great. The worst experience was during my COVID year and needed help with my math homework and my teacher did not answer me. Other than that, I really did enjoy being a part of Gettysburg High School and I had a really could connection with all of my teachers.

I had a very positive experience. There are lots of opportunities for advanced classes, extra-curricular activities and volunteering. The teachers are terrific... and they really care about their students. And for the area, there is a good amount of diversity among the students. The only thing I would change is to have more diversity among the teachers and staff.
