The best part of Gig Harbor High School is the amount of school spirit. The worst part of Gig Harbor High School is how impersonal some of the teachers are.

Counselors and teachers were all very friendly and welcoming as a new student. It shows that the faculty and staff care about all of the students.

Gig harbor high-school has good spirit, teachers, and resources to help you prepare for college. Although there could be more diversity, it is a safe and welcoming environment to learn and grow. I would add that we have good clubs and sports as well. There are many opportunities to get involved with the school too.

The administration runs roughshod over parents. Parents have very little say in what actually goes on at the schools. Most teachers have adgendas and go way beyond teaching reading writing and arithimatic. This organization is out of control and wholly unaccountable. And yet continues to take in mor...

Helpful support staff, and the science and special education departments, in particular, have been instrumental in helping both of my children to feel successful. Incredible communication from resource teachers and psychologist.

For students who already have good study skills, the academic programs are fine. For students with disabilities and other problems, there are resources. The school ignores everyone else and just allows students to flounder without doing anything to teach them how to be good students. The test scores...
