Nestled within the Sonoma Ranch residential community, Sonoma Ranch Elementary teaches more than 450 students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade in the Gilbert Public Schools District.
With a mission to engage, educate and inspire, the faculty here strive to help students grow in a positive learning environment, whether they require special education service or are eager to excel in a gifted program. Following the lead from the district, Sonoma Ranch goes the extra mile to prepare children for success in the 21st century through an award-winning Digital Citizen Curriculum.
Students can enhance their learning with a class schedule that integrates music, art, library, physical education and computer labs to round out their personal development. When it comes to overall performance, the well-rounded approach to learning helps students at Sonoma Ranch earn test scores in reading and math that are above the district’s average and significantly above the state’s average.
Beyond the normal school day, students can also explore a wide range of enrichment activities including art, beginners sports training, robotics, chess and dance, among other offerings. Throughout the year, the school hosts a welcome calendar of fun events from Stallion style days and fundraisers to student concerts where everyone can feel like a part of the community in Sonoma Ranch.
