GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred from a larger school in a different state to this school in a very small town. The culture shock was huge to say the least. This school is very sports oriented to the point where it does not matter how well you do grades wise or if you are participating in other clubs or organizations; if you are not on a sports team you are looked over entirely by the entire staff as well as the students (Class of 2006).

I've been at this school from the time I started first grade all the way through, it wasn't my choice to move here and given the choice I don't know what I would have picked.

There are several sports to choose from, and anyone can get extra help after school if they work it out with a teacher. With the ninth hour there are many other activities that don't require students to stay after school.
