It helps prepare you for college very well by paying for college classes as long as you pass. The teachers are all very good and there is a history of excellence that the students uphold. The families all work together in the community and are supportive of all the kids. Even down to the janitors everyone in the building matters.

I like how everyone knows everyone and their dog but i don't enjoy some of our curriculums that were have some because they challenge us, others becuase teachers don't don't how to teach them. Our school just got a new math and english curriculum but we still do not have school issued laptops for each student and a lot of the work is now online.

Giltner has a very good atmosphere and everyone is accepting. The only thing that really bothers me though is the lack of clubs or after school activites, if your not into sports that is.
