The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Illini Bluffs is a good school district set in a rural community. Our school has a wide range of middle class to low class families in our school district and tries to provide the best opportunities they can for students. Overall starting out in high school you have low class numbers so individualized help can be had from teachers when needed. However our school lacks a diverse and extensive class selection. Our general classes only have 1 option to take until you get to junior year and you can decide to take dual credit classes. Our math program is taught by video mostly and students struggle to grasp concepts to succeed in class. However our school does do a great job of providing a safe environment for students to learn.

One thing that I liked about Illini Bluffs High School is the size because it made it easier to get help from the teachers. I also liked the library at Illini Bluffs because it is a great place to do your homework and focus. One thing that I would change at Illini Bluffs is how the administration had favorites. Unless you were on a sports team most of the administration did not pay much attention to you. I would also change the fact that the school does not have any diversity. There were a few racist incidents were no action was taken. We should teach more about culture so more kids can be educated.

I like how we have such a small school, and how our elementary, middle, and high school are all connected. Throughout high school I've learned how close knit we all really are from growing up together because most of the kids I started preschool with are the same ones I graduate with.
I would not recommend this school. As someone who transferred in from another school district, I found it extremely hard to make friends with all these kids that grew up with one another their whole lives. Not to mention I stuck out like a sore thumb because I was Hispanic and just about every other...
Absolutely terrible. i’ve gone to multiple other schools and this is by far the worst experience i’ve ever had. unless you’re a star sports player I wouldn’t recommend even coming close to this school.
Administration and staff put the students first. The school is leading the way with technology (1-1). The sport program is top notch. This is a small school and everyone is friendly and respectful. I would recommend Illini Bluffs to anyone.
