Overall I would say that my experience at JM was positive. I feel that my AP and Honors classes as well as club involvement have prepared me for college for the most part. Kids at our school can be hard to deal with and i have a lot of respect for the administration a out school. However, I feel that our school counselors are majorly slacking in helping students with scheduling and preparing for their future beyond high school.

I loved my time at John Marshall. I just graduated in May 2024 and often think back on the good times I had there. The school is very safe and offers a lot of programs. They have wonderful CTE programs and great music programs as well. I was apart of broadcasting CTE and the strings program. I loved both very much.

I would like to see missing school not a punishment. We have to take exams if we miss 5 days of school. Doctors notes don't count. This makes students more stressed and come to school sick. I have noticed more people are getting ill. The food is also not very appealing. The teachers are very nice and helpful. They want you to succeed.

My 10th grade daughter mentioned masks may be reimplemented and I'm baffled at this unwise decision. There is no science behind breathing in your own waste, in the form of CO2.
