This school did not focus on student involvement. It did not have a good sense of community and teachers and staff did not do much to change that. Despite that, being in college has made me realize that Garnet Valley High School did a lot to prepare its students for higher education.

I've been in Garnet Valley School District for my whole life and it has been incredible. The emphasis on academics is very important, but they aren't super strict about it and people can get help if they need it. Many of the teachers are inspirational and very passionate about what they do. This school also, I feel prepares you very well for college. I am only a sophomore, but I already feel as prepared as I can be for my future track.

Both my girls graduated from GVHS, went on to college, and are professionals in their field of nursing and education.

The boys at this school shame girls, use them for premarital sex, call gorgeous girls fat, ugly. Girls are so mean to each other, some vape in class under their shirts and no one sees anything. Mean girls, cliques, most of the teachers are great but the culture at this school with the students is aw...

This school district is phenomenal! Every teacher is so hands on and puts forth so much time and effort for each individual student. They have wonderful services if your child needs any extra help with a disability. I can not say more good things about Garnet Valley. I've been in the area 15 years a...

My special needs child was bullied at the school so he stopped going. The school says they will support him transitioning to another school. He did nothing wrong. He needs help. And they wish he would move outside the district? Outrageous.
