This school was so welcoming to me, and I'm both sad and excited to leave it when I go to the high school next year. I moved at the begining of seventh grade, and so many people were welcoming to me and wanted to be my friend. I love the atmosphere, and have a great time at school each day. I am in the band, and even though I don't get as much class time as I did in 6th grade (band everyday, I lived in TX), this year the new schedule is a plus getting more class time for band. I like the level system for our core classes, and feel I really understand and like my enrichment level classes. I am blessed with being on what I think are the best 7th and 8th grade teams, Denali and Olympus. The teachers are amazingly nice, and will help you whenever you need it. I play lacrosse, and love the girls program. Overall, great school, great experience.

My son, who has learning disabilities, thrived at GVMS. His teachers pushed him enough to help to keep him motivated but supported him in his learning. The school really partnered with me to ensure that my son succeeded.

This school is sinking in ranks. This school has some of the worst teachers. If you have a kid needing any support you will NOT find it here. If a plan says your kid needs a quiet place to take a test the immature teacher will place your kid in a loud room. They embarrass kids publicly this is why y...

This school is going down hill. You pay 13000 a year in taxes and something has drastically changed from when my youngest graduated here to my third kid. Teachers as much as they are highly paid 4 out of 5 are down right nasty to teens! I mean really nasty! Some teachers never reply to emails ever,...
