While most of the clubs for high school are sports, we do have variety for those who like other things.

While we are going through construction for a new high school building, it's pretty great. During lunch, a lot of people do love to eat outside in the shade as opposed to inside. We use technology all the time in our classes, even in our math classes, so long as you don't misuse technology, we are allowed to have our iPads/tablets with a notebook app on it with a writable pen to take notes on if we so please. A lot better than carrying around a bunch of notebooks.

Majority of the time the DHPA community is very accepting and is very student involved. Although, popularity and judgment issues occur in the grades of 9th and lower from what I have observed at the prep. Most of the time, there are no issues and everyone gets along and if something is wrong, the administration handles it all swiftly and efficiently, bullying is not tolerated.

This school is a disservice to students of all abilities and backgrounds, especially those with disabilities. They have limited special education services and lack the trained staff to assist.

My son just finished kindergarten at Desert Heights and we absolutely love it. The staff has excellent communication with the parents. My son had ADHD and was on an IEP when he started and in just one year his behavior and his academics have completely turned around. I would highly recommend this sc...

My experience at desert heights has been wonderful. They truly care about the success of the children. The community is great, I like the communication. The principal is amazing and deals with situations effectively! My children love their school and teachers!

I love this school and the family environment it provides. I couldn't imagine taking my kids elsewhere. They started at Desert Heights Preschool at 2 years old and will be stay with Desert Heights all the way to graduation at Desert Heights Preparatory Academy!
