Foothills Elementary School is located in Glendale, Arizona, and is a part of the Peoria Unified School District. Serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grades, Foothills Elementary School has an enrolled population of about 600 students.

About 15 years ago, Foothills Elementary School partnered with Peoria Unified Arts Education Department to create the Foothills Fine Arts Academy. This program is offered to students in fifth through eighth grades. Each student can select and perfect their skills in a certain type of art. The teachers leading these classes are trained and certified art educators.
Foothills wants all its students to feel part of a community. To accomplish that, the school created the House Program. Upon joining the school, students spin a wheel with five different houses on it, Kha’m Pha’, Indarra, Zanna, Reveur and Malamalama. Students from all grades come together with the rest of their housemates to perform different events and challenges promoting and recognizing the house characteristics of persistence, exploration, creation, dreaming, and optimism.

My adult children attended k-8 and now my 6 yr old attends this school, which has become a fine arts academy.Wonderful staff, nurturing environment, perfectly paced academics. This school will allow your children to blossom in all areas for various personalites.

This is simple the worst school my son has ever attended . I moved him schools his homework is down , teachers are willing to spend time teaching, he is on honor roll, teachers communicate with parents . I guess that's what you get Foothills Elementary was just voted a C school and my sons new schoo...
