Good teachers and interactive classes, but poor help for students looking to go to college. I've had to do it all on my own.

My personal experience at Glide High School has been great. I have made many friends and memories during my time. The athletic teams are top in the state and other extracurricular clubs are also incredibley fun, such as Outdoor Club. The food has progressively been getting better throughout my time but still has a lot of room for improvement.

Glide high school is a remote school in Douglas county. Its a very productive and well maintained school. Since the school only has about 200 students, its very easy to make friends and get to know everyone. If I were to change anything, I would change the "stay at school for lunch policy.''

we just moved here from Ohio almost 9 months ago and i can truly say that the schools back east are far more better at the parent teacher involvement

Being a student at this school was not a pleasant experience. Although parents may be present and aware of the bullying that goes on, they don't do anything about it. The teachers let the students walk all over them, the principle isn't strict enough and the kids are the most disrespectful you'll fi...
