We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to see the science program improve. I would also like to see more school pride. Gold Beach High School is very poor and can't afford to put funds towards important curriculum such as updated text books.

For the most part the teachers are really good for how few of them we have. They care about us and want us to succeed. They teach well and most of the students like them. They make the classes interesting and challenging. However, every year we get cuts and we have fewer classes to choose from and the good teachers have more classes to teach. There is hardly any diversity, but I think I am getting a good education because of our teachers.
