I just moved to North Carolina about 10 months ago and so far my experience with Eastern Wayne has been okay. It is hard for a senior to move away from their childhood bestfriends to join a new community 7 hours away. However, it could be worse. There were friendly students at school and helpful teachers/counselors.

I love my school. I am given due recognition with what I am doing. I am given the opportunity to show my skills. My academic standing was improved and I am continually challenge to show more because of the challenges given to me by my teachers. I am motivated to show everything that I have because of my teachers. I am inspired to improved and fulfill my dream.

what i liked about eastern wayne high was that everybody was involved in things. i was in 2 clubs while i'm at eastern wayne high school.

It’s a school that is struggling to cope with a surrounding community in apparent decline and a commensurate student population accompanying that. Suspends students for no reason , horrible Staff, and administration , highest pregnancy rate in Goldsboro also horrible students, bad attitude and behavior.

No books and my daughter need tutoring. Too many kids trying to get tutored and they are loud. Also not enough tutors.
