My overall experience with EWHS has been alright. It's a pretty average school. But there are things they could use their money on to improve than the sports department. As in fixing up the school bathrooms in the main building and adding a girls bathroom in the automotive building. EWHS isn't an efficient school that gets the job done when tasked. The band teacher left my freshman year and now I'm a senior and they finally got a new band teacher. Not having a band teacher forced the kids to be in independent band group. Also their college readiness could be boosted as well as bringing in more AP classes. And I don't think allowing students to be in 2 clubs a year is right.

The best parts include enjoying the sports, clubs, school activities, and appreciating the teachers and diversity. On the other hand, the strict phone policy and dress code seem to be areas of frustration for me and others. If I could change one thing at the school, it would be to revise these policies to allow for more personal freedom. Thank you

The Guidance Counselors and most teachers are very helpful. It is a friendly atmosphere at the school. Plenty of ways to be involved in the school.

It’s a school that is struggling to cope with a surrounding community in apparent decline and a commensurate student population accompanying that. There were limited resources available for successful students to maximize their academic opportunities. The lion’s share of teachers’ and administrators...
