GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like that Wayne School of Engineering helps to prepare you for college and instantly gives you easy access to early college at ninth grade. Dual-enrolling in high school and community college has been very beneficial to my education. This has allowed me the chance to get an Associate's degree along with my high school diploma. The high school also has a plethora of good teachers throughout each grade.

I attended Wayne School of Engineering for 6 years, from 6th grade all the way till I graduated in May of 2019. I graduated with my High School diploma as well as an associates in arts from the local community college. WSE prepared me for college and made the adjustment from a small town school to university easy, and put me ahead on my career path and provided me with life long connections and inspirations

If you take advantage of the opportunities available, you can obtain your associate's degree before graduating high school. You can also stay a 5th year to complete the associate's degree if you prefer to pace yourself. There are WSE middle school sports and high school sports are partnered with GHS. Maybe one day the school will have its own campus and HS sports teams.

My children have thrived at WSE because of the engaging, accepting environment. Higher expectations from the teachers has led to them creating higher expectations of themselves, and the teachers have given them the tools they need to succeed.
