GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm a senior that goes to Gonzales High School and my experience here in GHS has been very decent. I have a couple more weeks until I graduate. I'm very nervous but that's a part of growing up. Our school has very talented, smart, and helping teachers. We could have a slight change with the maintenance and make a bigger field for our athletes to practice better. Other than those ideas, GHS is a pretty good school.

The high school is very underwhelming in many areas. There are no real resources or tools for success for any of the students. The only students who succeed are the very smart ones. College readiness is a joke.

Gonzales High school is a small school. Every class is about 200-300 students. What I liked about this school is that there wasn't always drama. The school is full of hispanics and we all get along. Practically, everyone Knows each other so we're there for one another.
