Mevers School of Excellence opened its doors in 2017 on the north side of Goose Creek. Serving kindergarten to eighth-grade students, Mevers School of Excellence offers free education as a public charter school.
With a dedication to providing students with abundant opportunities for growth and achievement, the school offers programs like before- and after-school care, personalized learning plans, meal plans and more. Parents volunteer throughout the school year to help with activities and run special events smoothly to encourage involvement in the success of students and the school.
During the year, students enjoy special events like Kindergarten graduation, spirit days, fundraisers and an annual book fair. These events motivate them to come to school and participate in extracurricular activities. Regarding academics, the school has personalized learning plans for students.
Exploratory courses like foreign languages, art, music and physical education keep students excited about learning and promote finding new passions. Between the abundance of special events, unique courses and dedicated teachers, students will receive a unique and individualized education at Mevers School of Excellence.
