Mount Holly Elementary School lies in the center of Goose Creek and serves pre-K to fifth-grade students. Nestled between the local middle and high school, students often ride the bus with their older siblings and neighborhood friends. The dedicated teachers and staff emphasize student leadership opportunities and strive to shape well-rounded individuals who reach their full potential. Programs like Book Buddies, Class Ambassadors, and News Anchors give students a chance to make a difference in their school while learning valuable leadership and social skills. Despite the below-average test scores, the school strives to create abundant learning opportunities by incorporating technology and online learning platforms while keeping an ideal student-teacher ratio. Throughout the year, STEM night, the science fair, field day, and spirit nights provide opportunities for parents to connect with teachers while allowing students to have fun with their peers. With multiple community partnerships, students have access to the School Market Pantry and Backpack Buddies, which provide resources like food and basic supplies to students in need. These partnerships and programs are just another way the staff ensures that each student receives the education and support they need. With extracurricular opportunities, a leadership development program, and dedicated teachers, Mount Holly Elementary maintains a positive reputation around the Goose Creek community.

Love the family stuff they do, and I think it's amazing they do fresh for all's. But bullying is a little bad here, and test scores are way lower than other elementary schools

My school is great because we have 50 dedicated teachers, a new administration and a program that supports confidence and success with all of the students. Grades are improving and discipline problems are down.
