I have gone to Gordon School ever since my Pre-K year of school and I am now a Senior in high school at Gordon. I have always enjoyed going to school in Gordon. However, I do wish we had more educational opportunities. We do not have very many class choices here. Every year they make have the same classes as the rest of the class. For example; everyone has to take ag instead of a Spanish class. One of the great things about Gordon is the small class sizes. I have had the same people in all of my classes ever since 5th grade. We have had a few people come and go.

This school is like no other. The tradition and holding the students to a higher standard is what sets this school apart from the rest.

If you are an athlete this is the school for you. However if you are an academic do not expect recognition for your achievements. This school has no extracurricular activities for academic minds. To be fair they have beta club and participate in UIL events, but other than that this is an athletic school. Some of the teachers and even the principle tend to focus more on their athletes.

Gordon ISD is dynamically improving the way education happens. They have added two computer labs and are integrating Chrome books into some classes.
