I have been apart of the grand blanc schooling system sense I was a toddler, and the mroe I grew up in the system I realIzed the worse the schooling got, I truly never felt safe at that school. There was fights almost everday and cops everywhere. drugs being bought and smoked everwhere. after a while you learned which bathroom to avoid during which hour.

I disliked going to this school overall. The teachers don't teach well, the two campuses are tedious to cross to and from, over 2500 people attend so it's very hard to develop relationships with teachers.

I enjoyed going to school at GBHS. I think there is a lot of things it does better than other schools, which is in part because of how large it is. There is so many different types of people, many different classes you can takes and clubs you can join. One gripe I have is sometimes they don't clearly communicate things, or send info in only one of the multiple formats they use making it more difficult to find. Also the lunch at the west campus is a LOT worse than the east campus, and you can't go to east for lunch if you were assigned west so you're stuck with it for the semester/year. Most of the staff though is very kind and understanding, especially with people who are neurodivergent like me, and I don't think I could've gotten through highschool without them.

My children attended Grand Blanc Schools from preschool through graduation. It’s a large district and offers endless opportunities. We researched several local districts before moving and based on our research choose Grand Blanc. I have 0 regrets.

This is a large high school and intimidating for some, and that is understandable, but it also allows for many different interests to be explored and more academic opportunities. There are a ton of AP offerings, clubs, and sports. Some sports are very competitive, but some struggle to get enough pla...
