As a student at Grand Island senior high, Senior high has many way to set you up for college. For example gear up is one of best program senior high has and helps me so much to prepare for college and my future. Not only that but senior high has done a good job on keeping up with scholarships for seniors and juniors. It's also very diverse and get to meet many different students and teachers.

It was a bad experience, maybe for not all the top jocks and A+, $$ students but I know for some it wasn't the greatest high school experience because of the favoritism that was so obvious towards certain "clicks/group".

This is a great school with multiple opportunities! The activities are always competitive and the teachers are always striving to push their kids. I have had 2 kids go through the system; one was in lower level classes and the other was in honor classes. Both had a great experiences attending GISH!

As an american I feel very disappointed when it comes to other parents complaining about how immigrants come to this school "to steal other kids' opportunities". If you go to GISH and you fail, it is because YOU don't put enough effort into it. My kid is hispanic and he will be graduating with honor...
