I attended Grand Junction High School 2003-2007 and had a wonderful experience. I was involved in marching band and music and I loved how involved the teachers were and how it made a community of friends that I still have to this day. They recently built a new school and it's beautiful and has so much to offer in resources and learning.

My experience at grand junction high school has been alright. I have excelled academically because of my self motivation to do well at school, I could have easily fallen through the gaps. There are so great teachers, but the issue comes with the condemned building and lack of reassures available.

I have loved the opportunities presented to me at this school. While playing two sports and missing lots of class time, the teachers were very helpful and adaptable and allowed me to make up work when I was back. There is also Colorado Mesa University less than a mile away and the highschool allowed me to take concurrent college classes. Overall I have loved GJHS and look forward to my senior year.
