My experience at South Grand Prairie High School has been an overall good experience. My school has a dual credit program where we obtain an associate's degree in our 4-years in high school. I've gotten ahead and learned some important life lessons on my way. It's taught me to learn on my own, the culture in college, and the importance of preserving in my courses.

My overall experience with high school wasn't exactly the greatest one I've been through, but I definitely had my moments of clarity within those 4 years of being in there.

It's the definition of mediocre. The worst thing is those stupid yondr pouches, they make you lock your phone in it for the entire day. What if there's an actual emergency? "We have a desk phone" No. We need to have direct access to our parents if we ever need it, not just teachers. And the metal de...

Currently, I am a sophomore right now, and South has become increasingly worse as time has gone on. We have metal detectors at the front doors of both main and the Alex building that you have to go through before school starts, which has quickly proved to be an extremely inefficient way of security....

This school is a great school not only do they have a regular high school they also have an early college were you can earn your associate degree when you graduate high school( one of the only schools in gpisd that offer that).
