10 years and four children into this school since 2016. From Prek3 all the way to 6th grade. I have seen teachers come and go under two different principals. Their communication is terrible, the teachers seem exhausted and unmotivated. The school spirit that once was has officially left the building...

Year 2025. Please take your child anywhere but West Elementary. The teachers engage in unfair grading practices and favoritism. For instance, they'll give your children grades on diagnostic tests . The food is bad the teachers are mean and there was this kid that brought a knife to school and threatened somone and they didn't alert parents about it

In my experience my child is getting the education that she needs also the emotional support. The teachers are phenomenal and are very supportive.
