Grand Rapids Christian High School is a highly rated private Christian high school located in East Grand Rapids, serving teens in ninth through 12th grades. Students receive education and inspiration from certified teachers and experienced staff. One of the school's tenets is that parents are key partners in their children’s education, and all parents are encouraged to become involved in their child’s learning experience.
The core values of Grand Rapids Christian High School are that students should be educated for life, connected through relationships, united with the church, called to serve and should pursue a life rooted in Christ. Students are encouraged to live out these core values through mastery of the curriculum and participation in varied extracurricular activities.
The school offers clubs including Chess Club, Forensics, Global Ambassadors, Film Club, Robotics Club and Student Congress. Fine art and athletic opportunities are also available and more than 60 percent of students participate in one or more sports. Fall, winter, and spring sports include basketball, hockey, equestrian, sailing and more.
This private high school prepares students for their future goals, and a daily schedule based on a college model provides them with the time necessary to develop mastery in their chosen topics. The high school was named an “Exemplary Secondary School” by the U.S. Department of Education.

My high school experience at Grand Rapids Christian High School was such an amazing experience and the teachers really genuinely care about the students and want them to go on to college and be succesful in life. Going to Grand Rapids Christian High school opened so many doors going there. In my opinion i feel like it's one of the best high school in state of Michigan.

I had a great 4 years at GRCHS. The majority of my teachers were amazing and the ones that weren't didn't detract much. While I personally am not a Christian, religion never felt overly pressed on me but there were plenty of worshiping opportunities for Christians. One complaint is that there is a lot of wasted time in the form of "Focus time" and other mandatory guided study halls.

My kids are not always good learners but of all the school they have been to this one has been their favorite! My kids talk chapels that they have when some of the students talk about Christ in their life. Which is a win in my book if they talk to me about their day, and then they talk about chapel!...

Terrible. This school harm’s students. They do not care about safety of children being abused, bullied, have mental health problems, minority inclusion, etc. what a terrible anti-Christian message. Ironic isn’t it?

This school does not ground you in faith or equip you to be disciples of christ. This school just cares about sports and image. I recommend NorthPointe Christian.
