I liked how diverse the school was. Although I strongly feel the school is not the greatest. I feel that because if you weren't a senior or didn't play sports they school and it's faculty members didn't find you important. That too me was my overall outlook on the school. Granted the school was a nice size and had decent teachers that knew how to teach but that didn't contribute to the fact that some classes didn't have teachers. I find it a slap in the face when a teacher leaves for a "better" job and abandons a class of about thirty kids to be babysat for the majority of a school year learning absolutely nothing.

The favor topic for me was government and the teacher that I had would alway keep the student encourage, tell them never give up , that she see them as doctor and lawyers. Also, she said that no matter what people say about you th as t you can overcome it. The school was good about keep the kids spirits up, the go and get it never back down. The you are somebody, you are special.

Ottawa Hills is a school full of students who face immense challenges. Most come from families who do not emphasize the importance of education and thus are not involved. The front office staff is offensive, difficult, and frustrating to interact with. Administration is concerned only with meeting m...

Ottawa Hills is not for the faint of heart. I have subbd there and was shocked by the behaviors of the students. Each class had only 4-8 dedicated students while the rest of class kicked chairs down, called me names, ripped up their assignments and threw the remnants on the ground. I called security...
