At Our Savior Lutheran School, students from preschool through 8th grade are taught language arts, mathematics, science and Christian values. As part of Our Savior Lutheran Church, this private religious school provides an education that focuses on academic excellence through the lens of scripture. Students are taught about the dignity, worth and potential of every person, alongside their core educational subjects. Preschool students learn in half-day programs with 16 or fewer students per class, while children in kindergarten through 8th grade have a full school day of educational classes.
Our Savior Lutheran School also encourages students to participate in musical performances, sporting events and theatrical performances. Athletics programs include track, softball and basketball. For students interested in fine arts, they can refine their skills through private piano instruction, performing arts, vocal choir, chimes choir or band.
The school's tenets are based on the mission of the Lutheran Church. Its statement of faith includes a focus on an understanding of scriptures and developing students' talents through quality academic instruction.
