Riverside Middle School is located on Eleanor Street Northeast in the Creston neighborhood of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The middle school serves students in sixth through eighth grade. The building offers newer furniture including desks and tables for students. In addition, the media center is equipped with the necessary technology and tools for student success including databases, references, books, journals and magazines.
Choir, visual arts and performing arts programs and clubs are available to interested students at Riverside. The Fine Arts department is applied to core subjects at Grand Rapids Public Schools. Sports programs are also available to all students at Grand Rapids Public Schools. As a public school, Riverside Middle School students can participate in sports like football, soccer, swimming and track. Athletics are a large part of the Riverside Redhawks environment and the Creston community.

Go figure--the new principal of Riverside is the son of a school board member. Nepotism? He is not even certified as a school administrator in Michigan. We need highly qualified leaders with actual credentials, GR.
