Overall, the community is very supportive. I wish the academics were more competitive and challenging. Sports wise, the competition is okay, but many students in athletics are not very driven by the coaches.

I started my life in granger under a desk hiding from everyone. Yet after I got into high school I was able to open up to everyone. My shell was broken open. The school has gotten better over the many years that I have been here. I can not explain how many of the times I wished to quit, but the school and students pushed me to continue forward. Now I think I can take on the world, and even build my dream home inside a mountain. I plan on making several businesses that will take care of my family even after I am not around.

It would be nice to have more parent involvement, especially around Girls athletics. I love the small town atmosphere and ability to play multiple sports and be involved in a lot of activities.

Great teachers who really learn their students and encourage them to push themselves. Very inclusive school. We moved here from a highly rated nearby district-RRISD- and I am so much more impressed with what my kids are learning and achieving here.
