GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall really good. I think that the diversity of the school is really lacking and there needs to be more accountability. But I really liked all the opportunities.

Very good school for college preparation. Unfortunately, recently it has lost its way and been making it feel like a literal prison. More cameras, drug searches, more cops, and stricter punishments make the entire day much less fun and more on edge. The arts programs are very very good at Granville, especially the band with its amazing directors.

Granville has a great educations system that challenges you in ways you can't imagine. It is a small school which can has both its benefits and its downfalls, but in the end, Granville truly prepares their students for life outside of high school.

Granville High School provides an excellent college preparatory education. The courses are rigorous, especially the AP courses, but the school is small enough to give students the individual attention that they need. The school attracts excellent teachers because the student body is college driven....

Granville High School is a great small school. We came from a much larger school. I find my daughter has more opportunities to participate in clubs and activities at a smaller school. She gets great attention from her guidance counselor and has the ability to take many AP classes. She had her 4 year...
