Small. People say close-knit but can sometimes be cliquey. A very safe school. One of the largest issues is a push towards the career center and away from college prep. If students take the AP track instead of joining career center, they will be well prepared for their future. Some very supportive and great staff, though some are also (frankly) incompetent. If someone is willing to look for the good teachers and good students, they will find a great community.

I liked that it was a small school. Communication with the teachers was amazing. But the way that problems were handled were taken to an extreme level.

Although Grass Lake provides an abundance of learning equipment and material, not many of the teachers utilize it all. Not many of the teachers like to get to know the student's interests, how they learn, what they want to do in the future, etc.

Dealt with this school district for 11yrs now. I wished I hadn't from the start. I regret wasting so much of my kids time here. They're unfair, don't care about individual needs, in the summer the schools are excessively hot and in the winter they're cold. They're lunches are also pitiful. Most time...

Grass Lake schools teachers are the best! They really care about their students success and go above and beyond to reinforce character in their kids.
